It seems like&lt;br /&gt;the Internet is full of "ideas" - however, these&lt;br /&gt;"ideas" don't seem to be producing results.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Three reasons come to mind:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Reason # 1: eBooks are not marketed effectively.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Reason # 2: eBook sales pages either do not exist, or&lt;br /&gt;they do not capture the buyers interest.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Reason # 3: The eBook is not written and/or organized&lt;br /&gt;well.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So many of us hear about the big boom in eBook sales.&lt;br /&gt;Most of us have read articles and/or eBooks teaching&lt;br /&gt;us that we should have our own product out there to&lt;br /&gt;be successful.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Well all of that is true. Then&lt;br /&gt;publishing it as an eBook and moving on.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Today people on the web want information. &lt;br /&gt;However they are looking for NEW information. &lt;br /&gt;New ways of doing things. Not the same old, &lt;br /&gt;same old, wrapped in a new cover.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So, with this in mind how do you write an &lt;br /&gt;incredible eBook you might be wondering?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Let me first assure you it is not as difficult&lt;br /&gt;as you might first suspect.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;First, lets set into place the basic foundation&lt;br /&gt;steps for your eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Answer the questions in the following steps.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 1: What is the main focus of your eBook.&lt;br /&gt;In other words, what do you want the reader&lt;br /&gt;to take away after reading your eBook?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 2: What kind of research do you need to do?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 3: What is the order you have to divide your&lt;br /&gt;information into?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, as you answer the above questions openly and&lt;br /&gt;honestly you will build the foundation of your &lt;br /&gt;eBook upon which you can build a successful&lt;br /&gt;marketing blueprint.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Great! Now it is time for you to begin the basic&lt;br /&gt;plan for your eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 4: Write a mission statement of why you are&lt;br /&gt;writing this eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 5: Write out what makes your eBook different&lt;br /&gt;from all the rest. For example do you have exclusive&lt;br /&gt;information, an original format, and/or an exclusive&lt;br /&gt;offer?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Great! Now you're on a roll. Let's begin the final&lt;br /&gt;phase of planning your eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 6: Using all the information above and your&lt;br /&gt;research, write out a table of contents.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 7: Now rewrite the table of contents into hot&lt;br /&gt;selling sentences. For example: instead of &lt;br /&gt;Chapter 1: How to increase your eBook sales. &lt;br /&gt;Use: 7 Secrets to explode your eBook sales!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 8: Write your eBook introduction.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 9: Write the forward to your eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 10: Write out the closing statement to your eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 11: Create a plan of action to finish writing your&lt;br /&gt;eBook. Take at least one plan of action step a day!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 12: Reread your eBook and correct grammar, &lt;br /&gt;punctuation and typographical errors. Try to have at&lt;br /&gt;least one other person read and correct your eBook&lt;br /&gt;as well.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Wonderful! Marketing timelines are  &lt;br /&gt;essential for all Internet businesses.  They provide&lt;br /&gt;not only organization but a truly well defined goal&lt;br /&gt;sheet as well.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;To understand your timeline is to understand your &lt;br /&gt;business.  Can you really know where you are going&lt;br /&gt;if you don't have a goal?  I think not!  Can you&lt;br /&gt;really tell how well you are doing if you are not&lt;br /&gt;logging your results?  I think not again!   Can&lt;br /&gt;you really tell what your profit margin is at &lt;br /&gt;this moment and will be next month at this time&lt;br /&gt;without tracking your sales, goals and future plans?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Well I think you know my answer by now.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There is tons of internet marketing "How To" &lt;br /&gt;infiramtion online. However have you noticed very&lt;br /&gt;few people teach you how to organize your information?&lt;br /&gt;Well, now you will know.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My marketing timelines include: goals present and&lt;br /&gt;future, Action plans for today and tomorrow as well&lt;br /&gt;as next month, and last but definitely not least &lt;br /&gt;you have a sales tracker as well.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ok. Now take out a sheet of paper, and for computer&lt;br /&gt;lovers, open up your word processing program.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Let's begin with our goal sheet.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On top of the page in BIG letters type: &lt;br /&gt;Goal Sheet - Short Term&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now grab another piece of paper, or another page, &lt;br /&gt;and on the top of that one in BIG letters type: &lt;br /&gt;Goals - Long Term&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Next page write in BIG letters: &lt;br /&gt;Action Steps - Short term &lt;br /&gt;And another page in BIG letters: &lt;br /&gt;Action Steps - Long term&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One last page in BIG letters write: SALES&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now you have the foundation you need to begin really&lt;br /&gt;understanding your ebusiness as it grows and matures.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Grab a file folder, or on the computer, make a file &lt;br /&gt;folder that says: "Marketing Timeline." However, I want you to do it manually&lt;br /&gt;when you first start your ebusiness.  I have found that&lt;br /&gt;this will not only show you how you are doing and where&lt;br /&gt;you are and what has to be done to get to where you&lt;br /&gt;want to go. It also helps to seat all the information&lt;br /&gt;in your unconscious brain.  Walla!  Automating the Brain!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Really, I am serious.  By doing this manually you will&lt;br /&gt;learn a lot more in the beginning and not have to learn&lt;br /&gt;it as you go along. This type of marketing method&lt;br /&gt;allows the buyer to try your eBook on their computer&lt;br /&gt;before paying for it.  You simply password protect part&lt;br /&gt;of your eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There are numerous freeware/shareware sites on the Internet.&lt;br /&gt;Most offer software. There are some, however, which will&lt;br /&gt;allow ebooks in EXE format to be listed and sold as &lt;br /&gt;software.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After you begin to utilize this avenue of marketing you'll&lt;br /&gt;begin to notice a steady stream of sales.  Many of the sites&lt;br /&gt;also list the number of downloads you have had, next to the&lt;br /&gt;title of your eBook listing, making it easy to track your sales.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately at this time you cannot upload PDF ebooks, &lt;br /&gt;they are considered documents and not software.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One thing you will have to watch out for are the sites &lt;br /&gt;what charge a fee for listing your ebook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What I do is list my ebook at the free sites first. &lt;br /&gt;Then I take some of the profits from those sales and &lt;br /&gt;apply it to the sites that charge a fee.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The sites that charge a fee are the larger sites&lt;br /&gt;and many people have sold thousands of copies of their&lt;br /&gt;ebooks on them.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One more thing to know about freeware/shareware sites.  &lt;br /&gt;In order to qualify to have your ebook on the sites you &lt;br /&gt;must be able to give it away for free.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, those of you who are selling your ebook there&lt;br /&gt;is an easy way to accomplish this.  You simply make&lt;br /&gt;another copy of your ebook, and this time you password&lt;br /&gt;protect most of it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You should allow the buyer to see the table of contents&lt;br /&gt;and one or two chapters for free.  Then when they want &lt;br /&gt;to read the rest of the ebook they have to buy it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have also found it is better to stay away from the &lt;br /&gt;automated programs when dealing with the &lt;br /&gt;freeware/shareware sites.  They do not include the &lt;br /&gt;best sites and many of the sites will not list you &lt;br /&gt;if you use them.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Although this is a way to really increase your sales, &lt;br /&gt;don't fall prey to the one mistake many eMarketers make.  &lt;br /&gt;Many of them list their eBook on a few of &lt;br /&gt;freeware/shareware sites, get a jump in sales and &lt;br /&gt;then promptly forget to list at the rest of the sites.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Your goal with Freeware/shareware sites is to maintain &lt;br /&gt;a large steady increase of sales not just a temporary &lt;br /&gt;jump.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Here is one of the Freeware/shareware sites that allow&lt;br /&gt;you to list your eBook for free. Writing &lt;br /&gt;articles about your eBook can be one of the most &lt;br /&gt;successful ways of eMarketing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;However, one of the biggest problems on online is &lt;br /&gt;learning how to write a great article.  You should&lt;br /&gt;not just type any old thing and call it an article.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;First, you must put your passion, your personality &lt;br /&gt;into the article.  In addition here are some steps &lt;br /&gt;to follow to explode your eBook sales using free &lt;br /&gt;articles.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 1: Generate an article idea that everyone will &lt;br /&gt;want to read about.  Review your eBook and look for &lt;br /&gt;the benefits that your eBook provides to the readers.  &lt;br /&gt;Make a list of these benefits.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, take one benefit at a time and create an article.  &lt;br /&gt;This will assure you of generating an article idea &lt;br /&gt;that people want to read about.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 2: Write a simple outline.  Once you have your &lt;br /&gt;first benefit idea selected.  Take another sheet of &lt;br /&gt;paper and write a simple outline for that idea.  This &lt;br /&gt;will give you the beginning content for your article. &lt;br /&gt;Later we will "fill in the blanks" of this simple &lt;br /&gt;outline to create the article itself.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 3: Choose a killer title that will draw attention.  &lt;br /&gt;This is one of the most important aspects of your article.  &lt;br /&gt;Without a killer title, your article will be passed over &lt;br /&gt;for another.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now what do I mean killer title?  What I mean is a title &lt;br /&gt;that has a benefit stated in it and draws peoples &lt;br /&gt;attention.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Answer these three questions to help you write that &lt;br /&gt;killer title.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. Does the title draw a reader to take a look?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. Does the title promise to solve a need for&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;the reader?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. Does the title offer specific information?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Another way to start writing killer titles is to write &lt;br /&gt;at least 20 to 100 titles for each article to start.  &lt;br /&gt;Then review other people's article titles.  Then review &lt;br /&gt;your list and select your best killer title.  I will tell &lt;br /&gt;you from my own experience that the more titles I write &lt;br /&gt;for an article, the better my title becomes.  I have &lt;br /&gt;never used any of the first few titles when doing the &lt;br /&gt;above exercise.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 4:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Grab your readers with an attention-grabbing opening &lt;br /&gt;sentence.  You can use either a statement or a question&lt;br /&gt;here. The idea here is to not only grab the readers' &lt;br /&gt;attention. It's also to keep it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The best way I have learned to write an attention-grabbing &lt;br /&gt;opening sentence is to go online to an article directory &lt;br /&gt;and read the opening sentences to articles with a similar &lt;br /&gt;topic.  I then discover which opening sentences are &lt;br /&gt;attention-grabbing and which are not.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Once I've done this I find it really easy to get my &lt;br /&gt;attention-grabbing sentence out of the way.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 5: State the primary purpose of the article by &lt;br /&gt;introducing a problem. By looking at your main benefit &lt;br /&gt;again you can turn it around into a problem.  What is it &lt;br /&gt;like without the benefit?  Here it is best to use a &lt;br /&gt;statement rather than a question.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you are having trouble with this step simply write &lt;br /&gt;out an answer to this statement:&lt;br /&gt;"One of the biggest problems..."  Use this to jar your &lt;br /&gt;idea centers in your mind.  You can also begin your &lt;br /&gt;primary purpose statement this way.  Look at the &lt;br /&gt;beginning of this article for an example.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 6: Take out the sheet of paper that has your &lt;br /&gt;outline on it.  Now, write two to four sentences for &lt;br /&gt;each part of your outline.  Imagine for a moment that &lt;br /&gt;a 7 year old has asked you about your article.  How &lt;br /&gt;would you explain it to that child?  Great!  Now use &lt;br /&gt;that in your article.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Most ezine publishers and owners like articles between &lt;br /&gt;400 to 1500 words.  They also want it formatted to between &lt;br /&gt;60 and 65 characters per line, including spaces.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have found it best to use "notepad" when beginning to &lt;br /&gt;write out my articles and NOT a word processing program.  &lt;br /&gt;This way there is NO formatting in the article. It is &lt;br /&gt;just the article in plain text.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Another point here is to use the word "you" a lot.  You &lt;br /&gt;want the reader to feel comfortable while reading.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 7: Include two to three free resources that the &lt;br /&gt;reader can find online to illustrate and/or highlight &lt;br /&gt;your article content.  Using this of course is only if &lt;br /&gt;it is appropriate to your article content.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 8: Write a resource box for the end of your article.  &lt;br /&gt;Make this between 4 to 8 lines max.  Here is where you &lt;br /&gt;tell a little bit about yourself and then highlight your &lt;br /&gt;website or email address.  See the bottom of this article &lt;br /&gt;for an example of a resource box.  It is the information &lt;br /&gt;that follows, "about the author," below.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 9: And finally, with your article written it is time &lt;br /&gt;to reread and rewrite.  I have found that reading it aloud &lt;br /&gt;and/or having one or two other people read it helps a lot &lt;br /&gt;at this stage.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Don't run into a problem many beginning article writers &lt;br /&gt;fall into. Many of them don't like something &lt;br /&gt;they wrote and try to begin again.  STOP!  Don't begin &lt;br /&gt;again.  Simply edit around the copy that flows.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Step 10: Now last but definitely not least, reread your &lt;br /&gt;article for grammar mistakes and use spell check one last &lt;br /&gt;time!  This IS the most important step.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Once your article is done you should do the following &lt;br /&gt;two things.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. Submit your article to "article announce" services &lt;br /&gt;online.  An article announce service is a email service &lt;br /&gt;that posts articles for everyone.  You have to be a member &lt;br /&gt;to submit your article. Once you join you can post your &lt;br /&gt;articles as you have them completed.  Usually only one &lt;br /&gt;article submission to each of the announce services per day.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Writers, Publishers and Website owners watch the articles &lt;br /&gt;being announced for content that they can use.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When you join these services, it is best to use a second &lt;br /&gt;email address.  This way the large numbers of articles you &lt;br /&gt;will be receiving will not interrupt your personal and &lt;br /&gt;business email.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Here are a few article announce services to subscribe to.  &lt;br /&gt;After you email them to subscribe, READ the email they &lt;br /&gt;send you and FOLLOW the directions on formatting your &lt;br /&gt;article for each of them.  This will increase your ability &lt;br /&gt;of having your articles published in these services.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have listed only article announce services that are &lt;br /&gt;located at Yahoo eGroups. After you have subscribed and &lt;br /&gt;read each email you receive. Or worse yet, are you to busy to submit to &lt;br /&gt;even one!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Stop!  By all means take a minute to read this short and &lt;br /&gt;to the point article.  It will help you to build steady &lt;br /&gt;sales for years to come.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Before we begin, here is what you need to put together &lt;br /&gt;before you start going to the directories.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. Great eBook Cover&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is a MUST!  In order to promote correctly you&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;must have a great eBook cover.  In this case, the&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;cover does sell the eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. 3 descriptions of varying lengths written out into&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;a text editor like notepad.  Begin with 2 to 4&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;sentences and build to several paragraphs.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. A list of 10 keywords.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, let's take a look at these separately.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;First, a great eBook cover.  Now there are eBook cover &lt;br /&gt;makers on the Internet that you can buy to make a great &lt;br /&gt;looking cover.  You can also use some of the drawing &lt;br /&gt;programs that are out there.  If making your own ebook &lt;br /&gt;cover is daunting to you, just relax and use this method: &lt;br /&gt;Buy one from a professional eBook cover maker.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In this article I do not have enough room to help you &lt;br /&gt;with the eBook Cover Programs.  Simply go to a search &lt;br /&gt;engine and look them up.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;(Note: I will have an extensive list of eBook Cover &lt;br /&gt;Programs in my upcoming eBook:&lt;br /&gt;EBook Marketing Secrets Revealed.  Please see the &lt;br /&gt;end of this article for information.)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;However, I can help you with a custom cover. Have fun!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ok, now where were we.  Oh yes…&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Second, writing 3 descriptions about your eBook.  This &lt;br /&gt;is an essential step and must not be taken lightly.  You &lt;br /&gt;will need these descriptions when you go to enter your eBook &lt;br /&gt;into the eBook Directories.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The reason I have you write 3 of varying lengths is to &lt;br /&gt;accommodate the different directory layouts.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Third, make a list of ten keywords.  This is very important.  &lt;br /&gt;I suggest you go to some of the directories first and type &lt;br /&gt;in some keywords you think you'd like to use and see what &lt;br /&gt;the results will be.  This will show you what others are &lt;br /&gt;looking under and what other eBooks will be listed.  This &lt;br /&gt;way you can narrow down your ten best keywords.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In addition to your list of three descriptions and keywords &lt;br /&gt;add the following to you file: your title, your name, email &lt;br /&gt;address and website URL.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ok, now let's move forward.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;eBook directories will increase both your short term and &lt;br /&gt;long term sales.  It all depends on the directory itself.  &lt;br /&gt;Some directories have a large audience that shops regularly, &lt;br /&gt;this will increase your long term sales.  Other directories &lt;br /&gt;have large spurts of sales and of course this will increase &lt;br /&gt;your short-term traffic.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;eBook directories are not just good for sales, they make &lt;br /&gt;excellent research helpers as well.  When I was first &lt;br /&gt;beginning my first eBook I went to a dozen or more eBook &lt;br /&gt;Directories and researched via keywords the different &lt;br /&gt;topics my eBook would carry.  This gave me a great idea &lt;br /&gt;of what was already on the market and where there were &lt;br /&gt;possible niche markets.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In addition, I found hundreds of eBooks to download for free.  &lt;br /&gt;This is the biggest help I had in getting over the Internet &lt;br /&gt;learning curve. I also learned from those eBooks how to &lt;br /&gt;write an eBook and how not to write an eBook.  It becomes &lt;br /&gt;oh so clear when you use this type of research.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Today there are so many people submitting to the eBook &lt;br /&gt;directories you need to become familiar with the many &lt;br /&gt;different types of directories before you begin listing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;First there are still some directories that are free to &lt;br /&gt;list in.  Then there are those that charge a fee to list &lt;br /&gt;unless you don't mind waiting 30 days or more in which &lt;br /&gt;case the listing becomes free again.  Still others ask &lt;br /&gt;you to add a link to your website before they will add &lt;br /&gt;you to their directory. You must decide which avenues &lt;br /&gt;you wish to walk down and then head for those types of &lt;br /&gt;directories.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Many of the directories today utilize submission guidelines.  &lt;br /&gt;When you see this make sure you take the time to read them.  &lt;br /&gt;They are invaluable! Amazon.com is not the only &lt;br /&gt;bookseller on the Internet.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Today at first glance things can be rather confusing.  &lt;br /&gt;Booksellers or e-publishers are popping up all over.  &lt;br /&gt;Each one seems to bring a new twist to the profession.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Electronic publishing is an industry that is still in its &lt;br /&gt;infancy. It encompasses eBooks, as well as print-on-demand &lt;br /&gt;technology. Many new innovative companies have been &lt;br /&gt;attracted by the exciting possibilities and as a result &lt;br /&gt;there are numerous competing companies, software formats &lt;br /&gt;and accompanying handheld readers and printer/binders.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In this new "Wild West" of publishing, with multiple reading &lt;br /&gt;choices and no clear leader or standard yet established, &lt;br /&gt;confusion reigns for consumers as well as publishers. &lt;br /&gt;However, much as we have witnessed in other maturing &lt;br /&gt;industries, the competition is fierce, resulting in rapidly &lt;br /&gt;improving technology, dropping prices with emerging standards. &lt;br /&gt;The purchase price of eBooks could be as much 80% less than &lt;br /&gt;a comparable book purchased through traditional bookstores.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It used to be you submitted to a traditional book publisher &lt;br /&gt;and waited to see if you were accepted.  Today, there are &lt;br /&gt;all kinds of choices to become familiar with.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now before we begin let's narrow down the field a little.  &lt;br /&gt;There are 3 different types of booksellers that I am &lt;br /&gt;referring to.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The first is an online bookseller that you need a publisher &lt;br /&gt;to contact before they will look at your eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Second is a bookseller that charges a royalty percentage to &lt;br /&gt;sell your eBook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And last but not least, an online bookseller that will sell&lt;br /&gt;your eBook for either a flat up front fee or for free.  &lt;br /&gt;This means you retain 100% of the profits from your eBook sales.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Today we will be talking about the third, or the last example.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Why use online booksellers is probably what you are asking &lt;br /&gt;yourself right about now.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Here are the answers:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. Books written by the Author never go out of print.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. Authors can write what they want without formulas being &lt;br /&gt;dictated.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. Crossing genres isn't a problem.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;4. All profits are kept and not shared.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;5. eBooks can be changed and/or updated easily.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;6. Authors have a global audience.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;7. Increases your online identity.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;8. Builds momentum for your sales.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, once again you also get to keep 100% of the profits &lt;br /&gt;from your eBook sales. WOW!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Compare those figures to the normal print royalties: 7% &lt;br /&gt;on 50,000 copies for trade paperback, 8% on the first 150,000 &lt;br /&gt;copies for mass market paperback, or 8% to 15% on 15,000 &lt;br /&gt;copies for hardcover.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Another great advantage of this type of booksellers over &lt;br /&gt;print books is that you always retain complete rights to &lt;br /&gt;your title and your agreements will be non-exclusive &lt;br /&gt;(meaning that you may also sell your work through other &lt;br /&gt;publishers). Then you &lt;br /&gt;submit your eBook to a few eBook directories.  Then you &lt;br /&gt;wait for the sales to come in.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Well, it's time for you to begin using the 7 Secrets in &lt;br /&gt;this article series to help explode your eBook traffic. &lt;br /&gt;By systematically using each of the 7 secrets you will &lt;br /&gt;build a large foundation that will bring in a lot more &lt;br /&gt;sales for you. The difference we are working &lt;br /&gt;with in this article is this: Royalty Publishers will &lt;br /&gt;publish your eBook and charge a royalty or percentage &lt;br /&gt;of your sales as their means of making money.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Because there are no costs for paper and ink, binding, &lt;br /&gt;shipping, returned copies, or other fees, eBooks are &lt;br /&gt;typically sold at 25% to 50% below soft cover prices. &lt;br /&gt;Yet, due to large royalties, most authors receive more &lt;br /&gt;income from the sale of their eBooks than from their &lt;br /&gt;traditionally printed counterparts&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So you might be asking yourself, why would you use royalty &lt;br /&gt;publishers if you already are using the Booksellers.  &lt;br /&gt;There are two reasons that come to mind.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;First, you want your eBook to sell as many copies as you &lt;br /&gt;can.  Second, you want your eBook to gain popularity on &lt;br /&gt;the Internet.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If in the future you would like to have your eBook put &lt;br /&gt;into print the sales you receive using these 7 secrets &lt;br /&gt;will help you a lot to prove your case that the eBook &lt;br /&gt;sells well.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A royalty publisher will actually do most of the work &lt;br /&gt;for you.  They take care of the downloading from their &lt;br /&gt;site, the order processing and any other details.  They &lt;br /&gt;charge you a small % of your sales to do all this work.  &lt;br /&gt;Many will give you a website designed to sell your eBook &lt;br /&gt;that you can use to market it.  Otherwise they provide you &lt;br /&gt;with sales help.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Many royalty ePublishers allow you to sell your ebook &lt;br /&gt;on multiple ePublishing sites. This gives you the advantage &lt;br /&gt;of selling a lot more copies of your ebook.  However, &lt;br /&gt;a word of caution, you MUST read the terms and conditions &lt;br /&gt;of each of the royalty publisher before selling to more &lt;br /&gt;than one.  You must make sure that you are dealing with &lt;br /&gt;a "non-exclusive" royalty publisher.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So, as you are trying these 7 secrets don't forget the &lt;br /&gt;royalty publishers.  They are worth the time invested into &lt;br /&gt;them in sales and name recognition.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now here's the really good part - Royalties from electronic&lt;br /&gt;formats are a massive leap forward for writers, from the very &lt;br /&gt;first copy sold!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As an example, your electronic download royalties could be: &lt;br /&gt;40%, 50% or even as high as 80%  Once again, compare those &lt;br /&gt;figures to the normal print royalties: 7% on 50,000 copies &lt;br /&gt;for trade paperback, 8% on the first 150,000 copies for &lt;br /&gt;mass market paperback, or 8% to 15% on 15,000 copies for &lt;br /&gt;hardcover.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The main thing to look out for is hidden up front fees with &lt;br /&gt;royalty publishers. There are many that charge them in addition &lt;br /&gt;to the royalty percentage.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Below I will list 2 royalty publishers to get you started.
